What's with the name 'Astaroth'?
This may sound silly to some, but do you by chance remember that Disney film, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, from the 1970s staring Angela Lansbury? If so, you may recognize the name 'Astaroth'. Throughout the film they are searching for "The Star of Astaroth" to complete the Substitutiary Locomotion spell. I absolutely loved that film as a child and it was my Mother's idea to use that name. The name may mean something else entirely to others, but to me it's a connection to my Mother and a special moment from my childhood. That's it.
What Decks Do You Use?
I have several decks, although I typically only use three of them on a regular basis. It depends on the reading and what is being asked. I also have some Oracle decks as well to get more clarity of a situation if it's needed.
My Main Deck
Osho Zen Tarot

I find this deck to be very insightful and offers a clarity that I haven't come across in other decks. At least to me. We all have certain decks we connect with more than others, and this is mine. Plus I love the artwork - so evocative.
Alternative Deck
Ethereal Visions
​
The artwork of this deck is what drew me to it, but it has fast become one of my favorites to use. It follows the Rider-Waite-Smith decks closely with the addition of two cards specifically for this deck and there is gold foil.

Additional Deck
Golden Universal
​
This is mostly the standard Rider-Waite-Smith deck. The artwork is classic, though some details are different. There is the addition of the gold foil to the cards that make them feel more special as well. Always a great deck to have on-hand.
